They take huge and hefty Advances[Rs.75000 to Rs.100000] in Bangalore,India.
They promise the sky and dig a hole to fall in it.
Rob's perpose is to Rob people and his team is an expert in this.
Recently I was taken to USA on B1, and people here have started marketing me telling the others that I am on H1. They call it B1 in Lieu of H1. It is completely Illegle to work for someone else on B1 in USA and risk is involved.
Some of the other bakaras like me hired by Software pundits are suffering a lot there in the US.They are not paid well at all and on projects[working illegelly on B1] they suck blood.
My other friend is having issues with them after getting H1 through them...
The worst thing I have ever seen on earth. Sopiling the Career of people.
This consultancy in Bangalore claims that they have Direct Clients in USA. It is a Lie... They do not have any sort of clients.
Do not fall pray for them and suffer like me.

I am not sure how with your wrong spelling and skill set you can even get a job in India...forget US.
I am sure you must be faking your resume to travel to USA.
Software Pundits is probably the only company who placed consultants holding "B1 in lieu of H1B visas in Fed/State and even Finance companies" without holding any facts from the clients.
The credit goes to the excellent sales team bringing in more than 100 man years of experience, who can even sell ice to Eskimos.
Unfortunately there is no place for fake and arrogant candidates like you with Software Pundits.
First of all to start with , I have a decent regard for Software Pundits for the kind of treatment , that I received with them. They have really taken good care of me , though they couldn't make one buck on me due to various reasons.
Having interacted with all of them for more than few months, especially the ones you are talking about, they are very professional, reasonable and most importantly care for your career. I know for sure that you rarely will get this kind of treatment from any consultant to start with.
I really don't understand how one can just take names and make derogatory comments in public this way , without understanding what implications and emotional turmoil the persons would go through. There are more social ways of expressing dissatisfaction.
Such an insensitive person like you doesn't deserve to be a professional , much less be in the US and the biggest mistake Pundits did was selecting an undeserving candidate like you.If you didn't have the guts to tell them openly you have a huge communication issue which will be detrimental to any organization you join.
Its common sense , that no one cannot create a Visa without the USCIS approving it , especially for a company thats been around more than 15 years in the business , so obviously its a valid one , if you didn't have the understanding of how this Visa works , then you should not have come in the first place.
Mr.Mittal, I understand that you are frustrated, nevertheless I would request you to remove this blog , mentioning people and deal with issues in more mature ways. And please understand things before getting into them and not just rush, even when someone tries to convince you.Thats where judgement comes in.
Lastly I urge the blog site moderator to kindly remove this particular blog with personal comments made about Pundits. This is when the whole concept of blogging will tend to loose credibility.

I have been working with Software Pundits since quite a long time and they are the best amogest the others I have seen. There treatment and care towards the employees is top notch.
You probably may be a talented professional but there are multiple reasons for not getting placed. Thou you are not placed, I am sure Software Pundits has given you the perdium pay here as well as the pay in India. Inspite of that, this is not good to blame them.
I request you to remove this blog ASAP.
I used to work for Pundits for a number of years and found them very professional. They were way far better than the other consulting firms. I got my green card through them and know of many friends who have had a good experience with them.
This blog entry does not make any justice to them and should be removed.
software pundits should be renamed as SCAM PUNDIT.
They have plenty of lawsuit pending against them and They have been running scams in the boston area.A couple of my former colleagues who were working for the pundits went through a miserable time with them.They hold your H1/B1 and make you work for them at low pay.If you want to move out of the company they start threatening you.The firm is run by some thug GOLTIS who have connection and they sometimes hold you family for ransom and threaten you back in INDIA.Better to avoid this firm
I completely agree with dare to dream opinion "This is unethical to publish the names of the respectible persons on the public blog". I know the people whoever came on B1/B2, got perdium pay here and paid salary in India and company bared return tickets also though company did not make any money on you. You did not get project because of recession. It is not software pundits scam or your fault. Company applied your H1b, that's why company brought you on B1/B2 visa, company thought applying change of status to H1 once you get the project. Due to recession everything went ruin.I do not see any scam in this.
Software Pundits promised me for H1 but it is 5 years now not mail commucation, no phone, nothing from company side .. i paid very huge amount for all the process.
Really Software Pundits are cheaters.
I am also struggling to get back my money taken for H1B. i havent got anything neither the money nor H1B. really this is a stupid company.

I am a victim of Upstream Global, thought my pay stub, once I actually GOT paid, said Software Pundits. I am an American Citizen, so I have no knowledge of the immigration complaints on this blog, but if my experience is of any consequence, BEWARE. They are a scam. I received many excuses directly from Durga Rao as to why I wasn't paid on time, and from his "employees" and they were good at avoiding me. But not good enough. I did not receive ANY benefits, and I did not receive my last paycheck and now I will start proceeding against them. Just BEWARE. This is not an upstanding company.
